About Us: The Debate Club is affiliated with the Connecticut Debate Association (CDA). Members participate in a number of CDA extemp tournaments throughout the year, which are hosted by various high schools. The agenda and timing of meetings focuses around upcoming tournaments and learning the proper debate structure. Debate topics in the past have included human rights, health care, privacy, technology, environment, and justice.
